I am wondering if it is a good idea to tow with a lift, i am concerned about going up big hills or mountains and having transmission trouble or something. I also have my tahoe re-geared to 4:56.

8 Reaction score 8 Last week I pulled the trigger and ordered a 6 inch BDS lift kit and some American Truxx 26x14 DNA wheels with a set Fury MT tires in 35's. Everything was installed over the weekend and I'm extremely pleased with how it all turned out.my only gripe is the steering seems a bit loose compared to what it was.

I've been looking around (yes I've used the search box) for information on running a 35" tires with a 4" lift kit. All the information I've found regarding it has simply said go with the 6" instead. I don't want to hear about that unless it is honestly necessary. I know 35s will fit on a 6" lift. You can get up to 37s.
