_Rylime • 4 mo. ago i'm slightly confused what your issue with the gap is, is it that Raihn was 32 before he changed so he had 32 years of human life experience and got to the stage of marriage and babies in that time whereas Oraya is nowhere near that stage?

The most interesting relationship in The Serpent and the Wings of Night, strangely, isn't between protagonists Oraya and Raihn, although they do have genuine chemistry.
