1. Pumpkin Seed Poppies After washing and drying the seeds, we used the Melissa & Doug poster paint from our Painting with Kids post I did for their blog earlier this year. How do you make simple poppies? Making simple poppies is easy with a few supplies and a couple of steps. First, you'll need two pieces of red felt, some wire, and glue. Cut out a small circle of the first piece, and sew it onto the second piece along its edges - this will become the base of your poppy.
