The Bedford RL (later TK) represented the bulk of British motorized regiments mount for the entire cold war. The RL had the hard task to replace the otherwise excellent QL series of WW2. This was an army vehicle derived from the civilian SCL 7-ton truck. The military version had the all wheel drive and larger wheels, plus increased ground.
