The trailer is watertight and will float with its 1/4 ton (500 pound) load. A canvas paulin (tarp), which fastens to hooks welded to the body, is provided to cover.

About 1977-78, my unit received orders to paint our Jeeps camoflage. They found the man-days, the gallon cans of paint and organized a few work parties. The Jeeps were cleaned thoroughly and allowed to dry. Then the Cpl would hand draw with chalk the diagrams posted above. The Tprs would take 2" brushes and paint the green, green and black pattern.
