Bart de Baets: Graphic designer Bart de Baets graduated in 2003 from the Gerrit Rietveld academy. Bart teaches graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Royal Academy of Arts in the Hague. Through a triple poster series created by graphic designer Bart de Baets ('It's a sign', 'I made it' and 'Lock up, Lock down') the Bonus Room expanded in February 2021 into the public space of Amsterdam. While it distributed a collection of ordained graphic images, from ubiquitous clichés of popular- and commercial culture, it revises visual habits and turns recognizable images into ambiguous.

Bart de Baets teaches at the Bachelor Graphic Design programme of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK). Bart de Baets (b. Knokke, 1979) is a graphic designer based in Amsterdam. He has currently designed the identity and a bimonthly bulletin for Kunstverein Langenhagen, and Forum, an architecture magazine, with Sandra Kassenaar.
