Nividic Lighthouse ( Phare de Nividic) is one of five major lighthouses on Ouessant island in Brittany. [1] The others are the Phare du Créac'h, the Stiff lighthouse (from Breton Stiv ), Kéréon and La Jument. Built in 1912, the Phare de Nividic was the first automatic lighthouse in the world.

Un phare dans la brume. Aug 2021. Arrivés un matin d'Aout, la brume laissait à peine entrevoir Nividic, nous avons pensé aux vaillants navigateurs un jour de tempête. Pour nous déconnection totale devant ce monument en mer tumultueuse. Magique.

Phare de Nividic. Le phare de Nividic est un phare de France situé au large de la pointe de Pern, à l'ouest de l' île d'Ouessant en Bretagne. Il est le point le plus à l'ouest de la France métropolitaine. Il doit son nom au rocher sur lequel il est construit : le Leurvaz an Ividig .

Après 14 ans de dur labeur pour parvenir au bout des 35,55 mètres de béton, ses constructeurs méritent bien cet hommage. Il faut dire que l'accès au phare est particulièrement périlleux.

Vue extraordinaire. Jun 2022. Un endroit magnifique lorsqu'on arrive à la pointe de Pern. Le phare battu par les vagues, l'eau d'un bleu étincelant, la côte sauvage et tourmentée. La Jument ("the mare") is a lighthouse in Brittany, Northwestern France. The lighthouse is built on a rock (that is also called La Jument) about 300 metres from the coast of the island of Ushant.There is also a very different lighthouse about 3 kilometres to the North, the Nividic lighthouse.Together with the Kreac'h lighthouse, they are the three most famous lighthouses of the region.
