I got inspired by American Mcgee's style for his games Alice and Alice: Madness returns. I loved his morbid and deranged take on an already mad set of characters and wanted to try out my own style by adding more gruesome designs. I also like pen and ink illustrations style art and thought it would give this piece a more darker tone with the scratchy pen lines.
