Three athletes cemented themselves at the top of the Diamond League standings with victories Friday at the Lausanne Diamond League event: Femke Bol leads the women's 400 hurdles with 24 points, Jakob Ingebrigtsen leads the men's 1,500 with 24 points and Katie Moon leads the women's pole vault with 30 points, more points than any other athlete six events.

The young athlete from the Netherlands won her crowning event at the Diamond League in Lausanne with 52.95 sec. Femke Bol thus improved her own tournament record (53.05 sec), which she set last year.

After their outstanding seasons both outdoor and indoor, Jakob Ingebrigtsen and Femke Bol were named European Athletes of the Year. The Norwegian, world champion in the 5000m and silver medalist in the 1500m, set a new Athletissima meeting record in the 1500m with a time of 3:28.72. He also won the Diamond League in the mile and 3000m.
