The national park Åsnen extends over the municipalities Alvesta Kommun and Tingsryds Kommun. As the 30th national park in Sweden, Åsnens Nationalpark was opened in 2018. The main entrance in the north of the national park is located in the municipality of Tingsryd. To the west of the national park there is another entrance called Trollberget.
