REVIEW โ€˜The House on the Lakeโ€™ is a wild, improbable ride Daily Sentinel

3/5: This novel is so preposterous, I can only hope it's a parody (but I suspect it isn't). It reminds me of the Netflix series, "The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window," complete with the unhinged woman spying, drinking, lurking, hiding (her dark back story), etc. etc. Tired old tropes, but I still find them fun. This book was fun, too, on audio, if you set aside.
